Network and learn from the world’s best mentors

We’ve often heard: it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.

But we also know that opportunity is not always equitable. And based on your zip code, your gender, your body, your history—you’re not always given a fair shot at making the best connections.

That’s why Canvas has assembled an all-star panel of industry influencers, recruiters, and career gurus to lead our first “The Future Looks Like You” Mentorship Cohort. For our inaugural cohort, we’ll select 21 ambitious professionals to be personally mentored by our all star panel of influencers, career coaches, and leaders. Best part? It's completely free.

Applications close at July 16, 2021 at 11:59pm PST. Early submissions are encouraged.

How will winners be selected?
We’re looking for future leaders who have shown promise, excellence, and courage in all areas of their lives beyond professional or academic. We know not everyone’s journey is the same. Let us know what challenges shaped you into the person you are today. Tell us about your dreams. In short: why does the future look like you?

Tl;dr: Come from a non-traditional background? Apply. Don’t have a degree? Apply. First one in your family to go to college? Apply. Want to break into tech? Apply. Feeling imposter syndrome? Apply. Still thinking about it? … Apply :)

Winners will be announced in 3-5 business days after the deadline. We encourage you to apply early.

When and where will the mentorship sessions take place?

Will I get to interact with the panelists one-on-one?
If selected, you’ll be one of only 21 professionals in small group meetings with each speaker, including a time for questions and answers. Individual syncs or time outside of the session will be at the discretion of the speaker!

Will I get anything if I am not selected into the cohort?
